Congratulations to all of our students and teachers for being recognized by the LDOE as a Comeback Campus! This designation recognizes schools who increased in Mastery and Advanced assessment scores in Math and English and decreased in Unsatisfactory scores since 2019. We are those Mighty Indians! We are doing big things!

St. Landry Parish will showcase our best Jr. High basketball talent at our All-Star game on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Opelousas Jr. High. Event Times: 5:00 PM: 3-point contest 6:00 PM: Girls All-Star Game 7:00 PM: Boys All-Star Game Admission: $5 for all ages.

If you suspect your child has talented music, theater, and/or visual art characteristics, contact your school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.

Please be attentive to communication from your child's school, as they will provide you with the precise dismissal times. These times may vary slightly from school to school. If your child typically rides the bus, please ensure someone is available at home to receive them upon their early return.
