WHAT IS A STUDENT ARTS EXPO?
The Student Arts Expo is an annual event designed to increase public knowledge and appreciation of the arts by and for the youth of the community.
The Student Arts Expo is a joint effort of the Acadiana Center for the Arts and St. Landry Parish School Board. These agencies are working together to showcase the talents of our students through visual arts exhibits, performances, robotics, a student market and more on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10:00 am–3:00 pm.
This is a great opportunity to show off and publicize the wonderful results that your students have achieved in the arts and STEAM, whether it is visual arts, music, theater, dance, film, poetry, crafts, culinary arts, robotics – so many possibilities!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
We host exhibits from art classes, performances of all genres, craft skills, robotics and culinary classes, as well as the integration of the arts into everyday teaching. Think of the teachers, the students and the events that shape your school’s creativity, and showcase those accomplishments at the Student Arts Expo.
