On March 21, 2024 Glendale held an open house /report card pick up for parents. Thanks to all the parents that came to see their child's teacher. Your involvement plays a big part in their learning.
Today Glendale students were awarded candy for meeting their 9 week A.R. goal! Congratulations to all students for their hard work and to the 3rd grade teachers for their great decorations and for distributing all the candy! More pictures coming soon!

Glendale Elementary has been selected as SLP PBIS Elementary School for the Month of March. Your students and staff have exhibited excellent positive behavior and it has not gone unnoticed. Glendale students will have a Jean day tomorrow. Students may wear a non uniform shirt and non uniform pants for $1 each. Glendale spirit shirts are not charged and allowed on Fridays.
Due to the predicted thunderstorms for this Friday, March 15th Glendale will need to postpone our color run fundraiser. The only available date to reschedule our event with our vendor that is not during our Spring Break or State LEAP and Dibels testing is Friday, May 3rd. All of the money that has been collected will be held towards your childâs participation in the event. If your child has not registered yet, or if you want to add to their prize package, the link is still available. Again, we apologize for having to reschedule this event, but did not want to take a chance on the weather and cut short their participation.

The festival is March 23, 2024, from 10 AM to 3 PM in the Opelousas courthouse square.
