According to the St. Landry Parish School Board's Student handbook, no student, unless authorized by the school principal or his/her designee, shall use or operate any electronic telecommunication device, including but not limited to cell phones in any school building, on the grounds thereof, or in any school bus . A violation of these provisions may be grounds for disciplinary action, including but not limited to: Confiscation of cell phone, Parent notification, Parent must retrieve device, and Option to use Detention and/or Suspension.

All St. Landry Parish Public schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, to facilitate professional learning opportunities. Please be attentive to communication from your child's school, as they will provide you with the precise dismissal times. These times may vary slightly from school to school. If your child typically rides the bus, please ensure someone is available at home to receive them upon their early return. Weekly Reminders: There is no school on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday. Slip on shoes such as Crocs and Yeezys are not allowed. The office is extremely busy in the afternoons. We kindly ask that if you need to check out your student, you do so before 2:30. No check outs will be allowed after 2:30. As per St. Landry Parish School Board policy, students are not allowed to wear jackets and/or sweaters with hoods.

Kindergarten through 6th grade will need to pay a School Registration Fee of $25.00 for the first student and $15 for each additional student, plus the District Technology Fee of $10.00 per student in the household.
