Introducing Mrs. Chastity Williams, principal of Plaisance Middle School. Mrs. Williams has been in the field of education for 15 years. Beginning her career, she spent 6 years in post-secondary education, 3 of those years in the role of Academic Dean for a technical college. Upon venturing into teaching our youth, she spent 1 year at JS Clark and moved on to her alma mater, Northwest High School, where she taught Science for 6 years before advancing to the role of Assistant Principal. After excelling in her role for 2 years, Mrs. Williams was afforded the opportunity to serve in her current role as administrator of Plaisance Middle School. Reflecting back on her own educational journey, led her to explore new ideas to meet the needs of all students. Mrs. Williams earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from Dillard University and a Masters Degree in Continuing Education from the University of West Alabama. The belief that every child can succeed and the idea that cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students was the catalyst that ushered her to acquire a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mrs. Williams enjoys serving her community and is a member of  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Introducing, John Guillory II, Plaisance Middle School’s Administrative Assistant.  Mr. Guillory has been an educator for 12 years and during this time he has served Cankton Elementary, Creswell Elementary, and Lawtell Elementary. He has worn many hats in this journey over these past 12 years and is most proud of the times he was a Teacher and Coach. Mr. Guillory graduated in 2009 from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette with a Bachelor's of Science in Education and in 2019, he graduated from LSUS with a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership. Mr. Guillory is looking forward to playing a large part in the educational advancement and lives of students of Plaisance Middle School. Mr. Guillory is glad to be a Plaisance Indian and can’t wait for the great things to come.
