Schools will be closed Monday, November 20th - Friday, November 24th, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!


In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the St. Landry Parish School Board administrative offices and all schools will close at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, and will remain closed for the rest of the week. We wish you all a safe and joyful Thanksgiving holiday.


The Academic and Personnel Committee Meetings will be held today, November 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. The meetings will be streamed live to the SLP Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Streamyard (https://streamyard.com/watch/BHzevTnBdCEm).


Glendale 2nd grade students has a special guest, Mrs. Susan Vige, who came to their classes and read books to the students. The books that were read are, "The Day the Crayons Quit" and "Pumpkin Town."

Veteran's Day was celebrated today at Glendale with many honored guests. Mr. Dwight Jodon played Taps for the ceremony. Glendale's 1st grade students sang ,"The Grand Ole Flag" for the crowd. We Thank Everyone who IS serving or Has served to protect our Freedom. Below are just a few pictures taken. There will be more to follow!








Glendale is proud to announce our 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Laura Francois, who is a 3rd grade teacher at Glendale!
We would also like to announce or Support Staff Member of 2023-2024, Mr. Gene Faul, who is our head custodian at Glendale. Last be not least is our Student of the Year, Zylee McQuirter, who is a 4th grade student at Glendale!
