Glendale parents can begin to pick up their child decorated pumpkins from school today. Thank you again for wonderful participation in this years contest.

Last week was Red Ribbon Week and every day was a different theme. Thursday was 'Decades Day." Most of the school went with the 80's theme but some took a different approach to the 80's. Enjoy the pictures!

On behalf of all Glendale staff I want to thank all parents and families that helped to make our Red Ribbon Week activities and pumpkin decorating contest a success. All students that participated in the contest will be rewarded with a certificate and a Popsicle party. The pumpkins can be picked up on Monday. A 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place winner was chosen in each grade level.

Glendale Elementary Reminders:
- Tomorrow, Friday Oct. 27th- Students are allowed to wear their Halloween costume to school. It is the last day for the penny drive!! Some classes are very close to each other in penny weight!! Also, pumpkins for the pumpkin decorating contest are due by 8:00 a.m.

Glendale students that ride bus 632, Ms Mary Guillory, WILL be picked up this afternoon and brought home. The bus is running today.

2nd grade students at Glendale learned all about timelines by creating their project in Social Studies.




1 st grade students have been working on math facts. Xtra
Math awards a certificate upon mastering all Beginning
Addition facts in under 6 seconds. Students earning
certificates in addition are Braedon, Rynlee, A.J., Aizlyn, Bryleigh,
and Draysten .




Elias and Carter have achieved Xtra Math
certificates in addition and subtraction fact fluency.
