A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.
MACA will continue to accept applications into March. Students entering 7th-12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year and interested in creative writing, theatre, dance, band, chorus, or art are eligible to apply. We are celebrating Black History Month. This week is Greek Week. So far students learned the history of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, and Zeta Phi Beta. We had members from these sororities and fraternities ZOOM in to enlighten us about their experiences as members. Thank you to all who participated.
