The Lawtell community is thrilled to welcome back our exceptional band director, Mr. "J" Hammock! Mr. Hammock is embarking on his 3rd year at Lawtell, and we are eagerly anticipating the incredible impact he will have on our scholars. Mr. Ford has been an integral part of the Trojan family for several years, and his dedication has greatly enriched our students' artistic abilities. We are thrilled to have him back and look forward to the continued growth and development of our students' artistic talents under his guidance.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Ms. Torie Vidrine, who is serving as our Assistant Principal for the pre-K through 4th-grade levels. Ms. Vidrine is now in her second year with us here at Lawtell, and we are truly thrilled to have her on board. Her leadership and guidance are invaluable to both our dedicated teachers and wonderful students. We are very fortunate to have her as part of our school community.

Welcome back, Mrs. Gracie Jacquneaux, our dedicated kindergarten teacher. We're thrilled to have you continue educating and motivating our kindergarteners for the fourth year at Lawtell. Your commitment is truly appreciated!

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mrs. Gwendolyn Pitre back to our school. Mrs. Pitre is a dedicated and experienced 3rd-grade teacher, specializing in mathematics. She has been an integral part of our educational community for the past three years, and we are thrilled that she will continue to inspire and educate our students about the significance of mathematics.

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to Mr. Andrew Savoie as he joins Lawtell Elementary School. Mr. Andrew comes to us with valuable experience as an instructional paraprofessional in the district, and we are genuinely excited about the expertise and insight he will bring to our students. We are looking forward to witnessing Mr. Savoie's impact as he shares the knowledge he has acquired and nurtures the growth of our students. Once again, a heartfelt welcome to Mr. Savoie!

We are thrilled to welcome back Mr. Nigel A. Poole for his second year at Lawtell. Mr. Poole is known for his unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and exemplary discipline, all of which greatly contribute to our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for being an integral part of the Trojan country, and we warmly welcome you back!

We will be following a staggered entry schedule for the first two days students return to school. The schedule is as follows: August 8th - Last names beginning with A-I; August 9th - Last names beginning with J-Z; August 12th - All students report. We are looking forward to our students returning to school for a successful school year!
