Mrs. Krystal and Ms. Gabby's first graders are 100 days brighter! They celebrated the day by making necklaces with 100 fruit loops, 100th day glasses, and glow sticks!
100th day of School Celebration-tomorrow, Jan. 31. Students in grades Prek and K may dress like 100 year old's and students in grades 1-4 may wear blue jeans (no rips, tears, or holes) with 100th day shirts or uniform shirt. No blue jean shorts or skirts are allowed.
Tomorrow, Jan 31 is an early dismissal day for SLP. PBES is dismissing at 12:00 noon. Buses will depart first; followed by car riders. Please have your child picked up by 12:30 as this is a professional development day for staff. Thank you.

Mrs. Krystal and Ms. Gabby's students worked really hard in Social Studies this week to create a bayou to house their alligator! We are so proud of their hard work and creativity!

Due to possible unsafe weather conditions from the forecasted arctic blast, all St. Landry Parish School District schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
With icy roads and freezing temperatures expected throughout the days ahead, we have made the decision to cancel classes, sporting activities, and practices to ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff.

If you suspect your child has talented music, theater, and/or visual art characteristics, contact your school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.
