It's a Merry "Grinchmas" around Port Barre Elementary.

Students had a blast at our PBIS party with Santa and his helper, The Grinch!

Mrs. Krystal and Ms. Gabby's first graders enjoyed thinking of things they were thankful for while making their Thankful Turkeys!

Schools will be closed Monday, November 20th - Friday, November 24th, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the St. Landry Parish School Board administrative offices and all schools will close at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, and will remain closed for the rest of the week. We wish you all a safe and joyful Thanksgiving holiday.

PBES Reminder: Find those refillable cups. Kona Ice will be on campus tomorrow. Please send students with money in the morning as we will not allow students to call home for money. The prices range from $3.00 - $6.00.

Ms. Kendi and Gigi's pre-k learned about the history of the first Thanksgiving. They listened to a story of the first Thanksgiving and created a trail mix from snacks that represented different parts in the story. After, they got to enjoy their Thanksgiving Story Mix and watch a recording of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which they have also been learning about.
