ALL ST. LANDRY PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2021 FEBRUARY 17, 2021 OPELOUSAS, LA -- Hazardous road conditions, widespread water and power outages, parish-wide diminished water pressure and boil advisories, as well as ensuring the overall safety of our students and employees necessitates the closing of schools Thursday, February 18, 2021. Additionally, administrative offices will be closed to the public. We will continue to consult with school administrators, the National Weather Service, and the Office of Emergency Preparedness in the decision-making progress regarding the re-opening of schools. Stay informed of future decisions regarding school re-openings via our SLP app, our district website and our social media pages.
