Reminder: The deadline to exit St. Landry Parish Virtual Learning Academy in preparation to return to in-school learning is tomorrow, January 22, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. You must visit your child's base school to unenroll. Students returning to in-school learning will begin on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Parents of Virtual Students: if you want your child to return face to face beginning on Feb 1, you must come to the office to sign the withdrawal form by 3:00 pm tomorrow.
Students who enrolled in VLA last week must attend school face to face through Jan 29. New VLA students do not begin VLA until Feb 1.
Students who are currently in VLA (virtual learning academy) and want to return to campus face to face will have the opportunity to withdraw this week. Please come by school beginning today through Friday. Students will return back to campus on February 1, 2021.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, all SLP schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, January 18, 2021.
SLP Schools will be closed Monday in observance of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. School will resume on Tuesday.

4:00 p.m. today is the deadline to register your child for the second semester of the virtual learning academy. Please go to the district website to register.

Any student who is currently enrolled in VLA that wishes to continue in VLA for the second semester may do so without completing any additional processes. Parents do NOT need to apply again for the Second Semester if the student is currently in VLA.
If the parent of a Current VLA student wishes to send their child to school Face To Face for the second semester, the parent will need to complete the necessary 'VLA Return to School Form' at his/her base school, (January 19-22). Note, the student would return Face To Face on February 1, 2021 in this situation.
