Due to unforseen circumstances and ACT testing on Tuesday, March 7, all high school students (9-12th) will need to work from home. ACT testers must report to school to test.

We are getting ready for our 1st Annual SLP Arts and STEAM Festival happening this Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM around the Opelousas Courthouse square. We snapped a few photos of the setup at Java Square this morning.

MACA's last blood drive is Thursday, March 2 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please consider donating as the supply is critically low. Have a great weekend!


Don't forget! We've got two great shows for you this week: the Theatre Trilogy (Wednesday 2/15) and the Black History Program (Thursday 2/16).



This Wednesday (02/15) you can get three shows for the price of one at Opelousas Little Theatre. MACA's theatre students and drama club will perform the drama club production, competition play, and senior play.

We're super excited to announce our 1st Annual Student Arts Expo will happen on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10 AM to 3 PM on the Opelousas Courthouse Square. We are so very thankful of the Acadiana Center for the Arts for making this happen. There will be school bands, student artists, our robotics teams, and so much more. This event is free and open to everyone! Please come out and support our students and bring friends!


MACA will have its annual Black History Program, " A Celebration of Culture," on February 16, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Admission is $5 (cash only). Tickets can only be purchased at the door. There will be no online ticket sales. We hope you will come out and watch.
