Ms. Kendi and Mrs. Gerri's pre-k class is having a great start to their school year. Students are learning how to follow directions and building their fine motor skills during small group time.

Mrs. Hadley’s class learned how to draw a panda during interest/opportunity time this morning.
Attention Bus 24 (John Gillen) Parents: Bus 24 is not running Monday-Wednesday. Morning route will be driven by Chrystal Hidalgo - Bus 284. She will run after her route to Beau Chene. She will begin with first pickup down Lalonde Rd at about 7:20. It will be about a 30 minute time difference. Students will not be marked tardy and breakfast will still be served. Afternoon route will be driven by Kristy Deville - Bus 272. She will pick up students after she completes her high school route. Please expect about a 30 min time difference. We appreciate your patience with our bus drivers.
PBES parents: To celebrate our first Friday of the new school year, students may wear jeans FOR FREE tomorrow! Students can wear a spirit shirt or uniform shirt with their jeans.
Bus 24 - John Gillen - will not run Thursday or Friday. Bus 272 - Kristy Deville - will run his route after she drops off her high school students. Please expect about a 15 minute time difference in pick up and drop off.
Group A had a great first day today. They will stay home tomorrow while we welcome Group B. Group B is all odd numbered physical addresses. Please send students with a water bottle to use at the refilling stations. The water fountains are not in use at this time. Car riders, please follow the route posted. Student leaders are bringing students to class. We look forward to a great first day with Group B.
Bus 279 - Mrs. Kelly Richard - will not run tomorrow morning. Please make the necessary arrangements to bring your child through the car rider line. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Welcome Back to School! We can’t wait to see our students. Only students whose physical address are even numbered report tomorrow. Please note parents may drop students off through the car rider line. Walking children to class is not permitted. Our routines begin the first day of school. Please follow the route in the picture. PBPD will be assisting with traffic. Cell phone use is prohibited in the school zone. Let’s have an awesome start to the school year!!!

Look who will be at Meet and Greet on Monday!!! Find those refillable cups. Prices range from $3.00-$6.00. Refillable cups may be used anytime you see a Kona Ice truck.
All PBES students will be issued ID badges this school year. The ID will be clipped on to the student's uniform shirt. Pictures may be taken during Meet and Greet. Please have your student dress in uniform shirt if they wish to take their picture. All remaining students will have their picture taken during staggered entry days. Replacement badges will cost $5.00 and additional clips will cost $1.00 each,

PreK students will not attend school on August 18-20. Parents will attend orientation at their assigned time on Wednesday, Aug, 18. Please refer to your acceptance letter for times. PreK students will begin school on August 23.
Please visit the PBES spirit shop store to purchase spirit wear for the 2021-2022 school year. All 2021-2022 spirit shirts may be worn during the school week. The spirit shop will close on Wednesday, August 25. Orders will be prepared and sent to school 14 days after the store closes. Students may wear last year's spirit shirts until these come in. Uniform shirts for those new to school are red, white, or navy polo shirts.

School starts next week! We will have a staggered entry on Wednesday and Thursday. All students that have an even home address (addresses that end in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8) will attend on Wednesday, August 18th. All students that have an odd home address (addresses that end in 1. 3, 5, 7, 9) will attend on Thursday, August 19th. ALL students will attend on Friday, August 20th. Please note that face masks must be worn by all students on campus and on the bus.
