The Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone 12 years and older get a COVID-10 vaccine to protect against COVID-19. In an effort to increase the availability of vaccines to children in St. Landry Parish, the St. Landry Parish School Board formed a partnership with the Region 4 Office of Public Health and Local Pharmacies to offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to students 12-years of age and older and to staff members. Two doses of the Pfizer vaccine are required. The 2nd dose will be given at the same location the 1st was received.
